Peter Berezin joined BCA Research in 2010 and is currently the Chief Strategist of the Global Investment Strategy service. He also oversees BCA’s Equity Trading Strategy service, which he helped develop and launch in 2015. During his tenure at BCA, he has also served as Chief Strategist of The Bank Credit Analyst. Prior to joining BCA, Peter worked for three years as a Senior Global Economist and Market Strategist with Goldman Sachs in New York.
Previously in his career, Peter spent seven years with the International Monetary Fund, where he was involved in program negotiations and surveillance in a variety of countries with a special focus on bank restructuring in Asia. He was also a member of the IMF’s Research Department, where he contributed to the Fund’s flagship publication, the World Economic Outlook.
Peter has extensive experience in analyzing global economic and financial market trends and is widely quoted in the financial media. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from McMaster University, a Master of Science (Economics) from the London School of Economics, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Toronto.

Prior to joining BCA, he held positions as Chief Strategist at RAB Capital, a U.K. based hedge fund, and Global Strategist at Société Générale, where he became well known for his analysis of economic and financial cycles – consistently receiving high rankings in external surveys, including the Extel award for best new pan-European analyst in 2000.
Dhaval spent the 1990s as an Investment Manager at JP Morgan Fleming where he managed $1 billion of global mandates, specializing in applied behavioral finance. His commentary and analysis appear regularly in leading financial publications such as the Financial Times and The Economist. Dhaval holds an MA (Hons) from Cambridge University, England and is an Affiliate of the Institute of Actuaries.

Robert has an extensive background in global fixed income strategy and portfolio management, spending 20 years in a variety of roles. Prior to rejoining BCA in June 2014, Robert was the Head of Fixed Income Macro Strategies and Senior Portfolio Manager at ING Investment Management in Atlanta, where he developed bond, currency and credit strategies for a variety of fixed income funds. Earlier in his career, Robert was a Global Fixed Income & Currency Strategist and Senior Portfolio Manager at OppenheimerFunds Inc. in New York and a Proprietary Trader at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in New York.
Robert’s career has come full circle, as he began his career with BCA back in 1995 as an Analyst and, later, an Associate Editor. Robert holds an MA (Economics) from New York University, a BA (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario, and is a CFA charterholder.

Marko Papic joined BCA Research in September 2011 and is the Chief Strategist of BCA's Geopolitical Strategy service. Marko launched Geopolitical Strategy in March, 2012, a service that blends BCA's macroeconomic research with the geopolitical methodology, with the goal of avoiding bias and providing investment-relevant forecasts. The GPS service is the financial industry's only dedicated geopolitical strategy.
Prior to joining BCA he was a Senior Analyst for STRATFOR, a premier global intelligence agency where he contributed to the firm's global geopolitical strategy as well as its analyst recruitment and training program. Before joining BCA, he also helped create the Center for European Union Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Marko holds graduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of British Columbia, and has lived in 8 countries on 3 continents.

Harvinder Kalirai is Chief Strategist of BCA's Daily Insights service. Mr. Kalirai also has a cross-functional role that includes shaping the research view and communicating this message to BCA clients at an executive level. From late 2008 to early 2016, he was Chief Strategist of BCA's Foreign Exchange Strategy service.
Prior to joining BCA, Harvinder was Head of Currency Management at CIBC Global Asset Management. Previously, he held various positions at State Street Global Markets from 2000 to 2007, including Senior Macro Strategist (London), Head of Currency Research, Asia-Pacific (Sydney), and Senior Strategist (Boston). He was also a Senior Economist at IDEA (New York) from 1996 to 2000 and an Analyst at the Bank of Canada (Ottawa) from 1995 to 1996. Harvinder has an MA (Economics) and a BCom (Finance) from McGill University. He also holds the CFA designation.
